Route Overview

The Miners' Track starts alongside the Pyg Track at Pen-y-Pass, but takes a much flatter route initially. It follows the wide gravel track built for the old Britannia Copper Mine, crossing Llyn Llydaw via a causeway and passing ruins of old mining barracks. From Glaslyn lake, the path climbs steeply over rocky steps to merge with the Pyg Track, ascending to the summit ridge.
